Remembering Norbert Demgensky Kp138

Norbert was a tremendous help in establishing a KP presence on the Internet in 1994 when he ran a European division of our BBS (bulletin board system)  called "DX11-Euro". This was really the first method that allowed Kp members to pass live messages back and forth over the internet. It was actually the BIRTH of Internet text chat. When BBS formats went extinct Norbert donated space on his personal server and spent many hours constructing little search engines for the original Kp website. Norbert was one of the first to run a LIVE radio streamer from his QTH in Berlin. Friends could log into his page and monitor .555 USB at any time of the day or night. His accomplishments in the radio world are world renowned. His log program "Logit" is still used by many ham operators throughout the world.

For some unknown reason Norbert's personal website is still running. There is lots of personal photos and information on the page so I'll keep his link here as long as it is alive. I hope it runs till the end of time.

R.I.P. Norbert.. we all miss you tremendously. I was proud to have known this man.
Norbert was a great friend of mine and had the
TRUE Kp spirit.

I, for one, will never forget him.

Truly a great man..
